Creating a schedule for flight attendants and pilots is not always easy to create. Many large airlines have different types of aircraft and some employees may not have the appropriate qualifications to work on them. You may be required to make travel arrangements, create employee schedules or schedule appointments to make sure coverage is available at all times.

Organizational skills include time management. You need basic secretarial skills to be a scheduling cosutr. You must be able to answer the phone, know basic computer skills, and be able to operate scheduling software.

Communication skills are important, as you will be interacting with not only the employers or coworkers whose schedules you are making, but also other professionals that you might need to work with to book venues or make travel arrangements.
